I'm a big fan of technology. So combining technology with saving money or saving gas as the case may be I get really excited.
When I search the Internet I love to find out about new things. So when I see adds that promise how to get excellent gas mileage I almost always have to look at it.
My most recent one is about running your car on water. At first this one was so far fetched that I wasn't even very temped the first couple of times I saw it. But eventually I gave in.
So here's the scoop. Basically some scientist have taken a known process of making a combustible gas from water. It is similar to Hydrogen in two ways. You can get it from your tap water and it burns completely clean.
I have seen 2 types. One that claims you can run your car on this stuff entirely and the other that combines it with your fuel so that you don't have to use as much and it greatly increases your mileage.
They also claim that since it is clean burning it actually helps the environment and its only by product is water.
If you are interesed in having this done then you better get out your old grees monkey suit because all I could find were sites that sell the plans for doing it yourself. Most of them however, claimed that they were easy step by step instructions with diagrams and charts and stuff.
I am really interested in this. I would love to try it myself but it's really hard to find the time.

Another product I have recently discovered claims that it will greatly improve your gas mileage. The inventor says it's really cheap and easy to install. All he needs is a little speaker or horn as he puts it and a sensor.
What he does is put the horn in the head rest of the drivers seat. Then he installs the sensor on the brake pedal. Then every time you press the brake the horn goes off. The harder you press the lowder the horn.
It sounds terrible but he says that it really works. Obviously it
is designed to get people to lay off the brakes so much. He says it will
help to brake out of our routine to use the brakes to often when there
are better ways of driving to help save gas. He says that you will do
anything to get the horn to quit. So you will learn to not go so
fast or to coast sooner. All these things will help greatly to
improve gas mileage. It'll surprise you how much better your mpg
will be when you do these things.
